2026 Abstract Submissions

Abstract Information

SWTest Conference accepts abstract submissions for both Podium and Poster presentations. All abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance by the SWTest Technical Program Committee.  Each abstract should not exceed 500 words in length. 

Accepted authors should plan to meet the deadlines noted below and attend in-person to make their podium or poster presentation in Carlsbad, CA at the Omni La Costa hotel.

Abstract Submission Dates

Our preliminary schedule for the 35th Annual SWTest Technical Program is as follows:

December 16, 2025

March 6, 2026

  • Abstract submission deadline (extension)

March 13, 2026

  • Author selection notifications. Authors have one week to respond.

March 20, 2026

  • Author acceptance notifications

May 15, 2026

  • Submit FINAL podium presentation in MS-PPT format for screen projection.
  • Submit FINAL poster presentation in MS-PPT format to be included with the podium presentations in the eProceedings for all attendees.

June 8, 2026

  • Start of Conference in Carlsbad, CA, at Omni La Costa

Podium Session Information

At SWTest, each podium session consists of three 30 minute presentations. There are no formal technical papers or published proceedings; however, copies of the presentations are made available to the attendees each day of the conference via a password protected PDF downloaded from the SWTest website.

The technical program schedule does not conflict with the SWTest EXPO so there will be ample opportunities for networking.

Accepted Presenters are eligible for benefits (limited to one presenter per presentation):

  • Guaranteed reservation in Presenters’ room block at the Omni La Costa (must be booked by May 6, 2026).
  • Reduced Presenter registration fee of $550, in contrast to the advance Full Conference registration fee of $1,035.
  • Invitation to attend the Speaker’s Only Breakfast on Monday before the Keynote Session.
